The crown jewel of Cre Run Farm is its famed broodmare band. Our Mares represent some of the finest pedigrees and Graded Stakes winners/producers in the United States. As leaders in breeding and raising countless champions here in the United States, we provide the very best in veterinary care and collaborate with SBS Breeding Facility in Maryland (*or another approved facility) for the very best in reproductive services. Our team is dedicated to ensuring a safe and successful experience for you and your future investment. All mares will be foaled on-site (unless vet recommends alternative plan for safety) and owner Deb Mihaloff oversees the care and quality of service, as well as experience as she has foaled out the majority of Cre Run offspring.
This is an opportunity to utilize Cre Run’s exceptional bloodlines and it is the perfect opportunity to breed a high-quality mare without having to incur the purchase price of one. Clients are welcome to scheduled visits and we offer professional communication to keep you involved in all the magical moments along the way.
LEASE FEE OVERVIEW
1. Select your mare from over 20 top bloodlines. Mares lease fees begin at $1,500 and increase on our Blue Hen mares due at signing. *prices are subject to change and International rates may differ.
2. Choose the stallion.
You select your Stallion for “your” Cre Run mare. *We must approve all outside stallion selections for our mares. We have frozen semen available from our Cre Run Stallions, CROWNN ROYAL, OUR MACHINE and DA ADIOS, check out their pedigrees and details here. Cre Run Stallions offer frozen semen – all mares will go to SBS Veterinary Services facility in Chesapeake City, Maryland (*or Lessor approved facility) for insemination services, they offer comprehensive mare breeding management services, including artificial insemination with fresh, cooled, and frozen semen. Lessee is responsible for all expenses at SBS and transportation costs. We can email you an estimated breakdown of these costs.
3. Mare Care.
Once confirmed in foal at SBS Breeding Clinic (or Lessor approved facility) and their vet approves a safe discharge, the mare will return to Cre Run Farm. Maintaining optimum health and wellness of our mares is key to a successful carry and delivery. Our farm provides top class care and feeding program. Day rate will begin for mare in foal at $35/day.
Lessee will be billed monthly, we provide a pre-set program through EDMS, 1.5% charge after 30 days.
4. Concierge Service.
Cre Run Farm coordinates all breeding activity updates with our trusted reproductive team at SBS Veterinary Services. One of the best in comprehensive mare management services in Chesapeake City, Maryland. We are here to care for and protect your valued investment.
5. Foaling on site at Cre Run Farm.
We have significant foaling experience and rely on several measures to ensure a safe and attended foaling. Our mares are constantly watched with our monitoring system that in most cases can be watched by you, the client via a webcam that we provide for ready mares under a video camera. There is a onetime foaling fee of $1,000.00 USD
6. MARE & FOAL rates;
Upon delivery all foals will receive any and all medical care they requires to grow into healthy, happy babies at Lessee’s expense. The Mare/foal day rate will be $50/day.
The foal will remain onsite at Cre Run through weaning, up to 6 months at the mare/foal day rate.
7. Weanlings are permitted to remain at a day rate of $35/day until you are able to ship to your location.
Insurance can be purchased though Markel for the fetus (in foal) coverage if lessee wishes to protect their investment.
